haha--I had to laugh at the person who said that Lisa looked like the Muppet Janice. My boyfriend and I were watching the show and I kept saying that Lisa looked like that muppet, but I couldn't remember the Muppet's name! Glad I'm not the only one to see the resemblance.

Did anyone else notice that Lisa Gastineau's eyes are VERY crossed? It's almost bad enough to take the attention away from her Skeletor/Michael Jackson nose...almost. She needs to stop trying to look young and start being a mother which is blatantly obvious that she never tried to do that. Britney seriously needs to wax between her eyebrows, I mean she's a pretty girl,why would she leave that tuft there? But I guess these cosmetic issues should be the least of their problems.

Lisa Gastineu needs to come to reality. No, she is not a teen. So stop trying to act like one. She has to be at least 45 yrs. old. If she married in 1979 at the age of 19. Do the math. Brittny needs to leave her mother's influence and learn to live a real life. Personally, I think Brittny seems like a spoiled, yet smart girl given the right envoirnment. Her mom is the one keeping her in this money crazed world. Lisa, let your daughter live. Let your daughter have a relationship with her dad. At her age, he is not going to be the big bad wolf.

At 22yrs. old isn't a woman able to make her own choice as to whether or not she wants a relationship with her dad. What gives. And yes, Lisa, you were doing some modeling in the mid to late 70's. So how can you be just 40yrs old. It's no sin to be the age you are. Instead of focusing on your wrong age, focus on life. Have a more authentic life. Not this pretend one. And again let your daughter do what is right. The world is not about you.

I recall an article in People Mag. when Mark left Lisa for Brigitte and Brittny was a rather large child. Does anyone remember that? Also, where did Lisa get all her money. Certainly not from Mark. He didn't make enough in his career to accommodate all of them and he hasn't made a lucrative salary for many years.

from what I understand, mark made 65000 a week, she took most of it and used it to attrack other men with money and then used them to get more. All the while Mark went down hill due to drugs and apparent anger management issues. Sounds like a typical women of her caliber

I really enjoy the show. I'm in graduate school and spend a lot of time studying serious subjects, so I find that this show is just what I need to unwind and laugh. It's for entertainment, people! I'd rather watch these ladies than lame middle-class folks on who go on reality tv and backstab each other to win money. I don't find mean people funny. With the Gastineaus, you can have a sense of humor.

I just saw on one of the shows that Britney hasn't seen her dad in like 17 years. This might explain many of her hang-ups, why she is the way she is. I don't know the details, but I can't imagine what would make a dad not want to be involved in his daughter's life. Makes for a crappy father and a crappy human being.

Oh C'mon, all of you jealous unfortunate ones stop watching the show if you are so turned-off. There are plenty of celebrities that shouldent step foot in the spotlight, let alone have their own t.v. show. The reality is, that most of the charactors you do love are just big, fake, do anything to make you watch me clowns,while these girls are simply being themselves and they are adorable. Dont buy into everthing you see on t.v., you'd be surprised at who the real "ghastly" ones are. And to ILARIT-

I am sure that all of the negative comments are from boring, ugly people.
As for me, I love to watch my fellow beautiful people.

Oh yeah. Forgot to add that my four-year college degree beats out any education that Brit or Lisa have. Brittny had no idea how to do a simple resume (which she stated in the show), and was unsuccessfully "trying" to attend collee, but but couldn't finish b/c she never went to class. HMMMMMM. Lisa also never finished college and "doesn't even know how to use A COMPUTER!" But I though you said that classy people had educations?????????

Who in the world, made most all of you, so angry? Over a oh so cute, little diversion, watching a 30 minute TV spoof, a mother and daughter having a little fun? As a mother with a daughter, I think their WAY funny, they make me laugh, they entertain, their day to day experiences are FUN. SO what if it's NOT thought provoking, WHO CARES!? I think their a hoot and recommended the show to MY daughter who'll get a BIG kick out of it, if anything, it will remind her of she and I. So lighten up out there people! I hope the show is renewed, I absolutely adore both Lisa and Brittany and spoiled or not [which is fine by me], I can assure you, whether you want it or not, they are VERY well known now and popular! I came across this forum trying to find out who these two women are when my girlfriend was watching the show and found the discussion very interesting.
I would like to pass on a few things I have observed.
First, reality shows are what they are, so don't expect to see anything insightful. These programs are the TV equivalent of 12 year olds playing with a chemestry set- no matter what they mix together, it doesn't make anything of value.
Next comes the preoccupation of Americans with wealth and celebrity. We have become a covetous, greedy society whose values lie with superficial beauty and chatel.
And finally, I think we have an idiot for our President, we're in a war against a country who did nothing to us so we can force our system on them (which is failing miserably, by the way), and the economy is weaker by the day...why would anyone care what the Gastineau Girls are doing?
