Me LOVE cookies...
I blame Cookie Monster for my obesity. Do you have the name of their law firm? I'd like to file a suit!

Mr. Monster is currently represented by the firm of Dewey, Eatum & Howe.

COOKIE COOKIE COOKIE!!!!!
You cant do it. just cos fat people try and blame every1 else for them being lardy when its really their fault for eatin mcdonalds every 5 mins. all he wants to do is eat cookies leave him be or risk ruining one of the greatest kids characters ever.

You People need to stop blaming a character on a kids show for your obesity juss go on a diet or do something about it cookie monster exercises and shows to be able to eat like that you need to be able to have time to exercise and be haelthy so stop blaming him for yuor problems

WTF?! The Carrot Monster? Are you kidding me right now? Why the hell do people wallow in self pity and blame other people [or in this case a puppet] for their problems instead of having the balls to say "it's my fault I'm fat." People need to discard these liberalistic ideas and face facts: your in charge of you, and no amount of blaming others will ever change that. You are the only person who can help you, and people need to relize that blaming a puppet on child obseity isn't going to help anything. Parents, your in charge of your children, and you have to be the ones who change their lifestyle. Obesity starts in the high chair; kids learn to eat vegetables when their a baby. If we continue at this rate, when this generation hits 18, 1 in 3 children will have diabetes. The time to act is now parents, and blaming a Sesame Street character isn't going to help.

This is all bull. I am doing a school assignment on the cookie monster and i believe that cookie monster should eat whatever the hell he wants. Cookie monster is known for having a love for cookies. I grew up with cookie monster loving cookies. Cookie monster is unique for his cookie. Blaming a sesame street character is not going to stop the obeseity.

this is really stupid... im fat but i know why im fat... its cause i like to eat, not because of some stupid blue monster that eats cookies. really this sue everyone over obesity thing has really gone too far. maybe i should sue frito-lay because eating chips can make you fat.... OMG i still cant believe anyone would try to take the cookies away from the cookie monster! by that logic these people must think we should just outlaw cookies all together!!! "oh no, those dangerous cookies are going to sneak up on my child and force them selfs to be consumed!!! how diabolical!"

NO WAY! This is Sesame Street we're talking about! How can puppets have an influence on people! Just because someone is too lazy to lose some weight doesn't mean that they need to blame their fatness on a kids show. Its just plain pathetic!
