The case of the missing Giants

BondsbThe San Francisco Giants have started the season a lukewarm 6-7, but their ads are hot. Posters of Barry Bonds, Moises Alou, Jason Schmidt and J.T. Snow, created by Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners, have been disappearing from city bus shelters—15 of 80 have been swiped so far citywide, and a new one is reported missing every day, according to the agency. The ads are being replaced as soon as they are lifted. The Giants are combating the thievery with two upcoming poster giveaways at lovely SBC Park: J.T. Snow on Saturday against Milwaukee and Jason Schmidt on Tuesday against the San Diego Padres.

whoever came up with these must be small and ungifted. i am the one who is stealing them, because they are ruining the city with their suckiness. i would rather see posters for cellulite cream with before and after photos of sally struthers' left thigh then this rubbish. i will keep hunting these down and stealing them until barry admits he is an ahole. or until he admits to stealing my soul. and my anal virginity. i am going to go eat some seamus. bye.

This outdoor campaign is the best I've ever seen! The writer and art director must be incredibly talented, not to mention attractive. And not that I would know, but I think you might want to check your numbers Celeste. I heard somewhere that over 40 posters (that's half of the total) have been stolen. Now that's advertising!

the bat seems small for Barry...I bet it's proportionate to something else Barry has. These are some of the most amazing posters I have ever seen. Next to the new Kraft "WOW, POW, HOW" ads, this the best new campaign in 2005.
