For those who can't get enough Donny
Since AdFreak doesn’t have its own book reviewer, we’ll point you to this review of Donny’s new book, Often Wrong, Never in Doubt. (If you have to ask, “Donny who?” you’re reading the wrong blog.) The critique, by BusinessWeek reporter and blogger David Kiley, says: “Like any book of this type—part memoir, part ‘this is why I make so much money’ rant—it succeeds in some places and falls obnoxiously flat in others.” Keep in mind that unlike other people who might critique the book, Kiley is extremely familiar with his subject. In the mid-1990s, Kiley—also a former reporter for AdFreak’s sister, Adweek—collaborated on a book with Donny. The project was eventually shelved.

Dear Donny, Re the book: dissapointed. You neglected to include my role in the slow growth of David Deutsch Associates. Love your show. Regards. Alan Alanglass@optonline.net
