Gambling site looks to rename small town

Poker_1Here we go again. The tiny town of Sharer, Ky., has been offered $100,000 to change its name to PokerShare.com. The gambling Web site apparently wanted to target a town whose name was already somewhat similar to its own; it found Sharer using MapQuest. “I can’t speak for everybody, but certainly speaking for myself, this isn’t going to happen,” says one county official. “When you talk about poker and gambling, we’re not for that in our county.
