Well, angels are virgins. And they're mobile (wings, don't ya know).

Virgin accomplished exactly what they set out to do—shock people and get them talking and get as much media coverage of the affair as possible.
The company has been constantly pushing the envelope in their advertising and has utilized such shock value to create word of mouth. Virgin owner Richard Branson has been notorious for being the fuel behind controversial marketing campaigns. I myself have pulled some double takes while traveling via subway and witnessing advertising media on the platform. There is obvious sexual innuendo in most Virgin ads and they utilize as much wordplay as possible with the term “Virgin”.
This event shouldn’t come as much of a surprise as 9 months ago, a publicity stunt pulled by Virgin Mobile involved nurses wearing short skirts and stilettos, and caused a big brouhaha with the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario.
So the press and upset moralists are playing right into the hands of Virgin. The story was picked up by the Canadian Press, Reuters, Ottawa Sun, National Post, CTV and other media outlets. And now we’re here discussing the issue just as others are talking about Virgin Mobile. All of a sudden word of mouth advertising is in full effect for Virgin Mobile.
Mission accomplished.
