Budget’s tips for moving—and for life

BudgetThey’ve been around forever, but I still enjoy seeing the “Moving Tips” on the sides of Budget trucks, one of which was parked near my apartment building yesterday. Other lines include, “Dolly, good. Hernia, bad,” “Wear plenty of deodorant on day of move,” “Don’t pack dog and cat in same box” and “Make lots of friends before you move.” My favorite blogger reaction to the image shown here: “Will Budget be held harmless against any damages that could arise when some dolt actually does something with packing tape as a result of having seen it depicted on the side of the van? Or does its humorous warning serve as a disclaimer? Is that disclaimer sufficient?”

I am sure that it is meant as only a form of advertisement and not sufficient as a disclaimer. However, if it was, what a nice way to put things - namely the illustrations. :D
