Right before I read this blog I read a better one...it had this link posted in response to this waste of an ad campaign. Anyone who knows the area around USC knows that a billboard in South Central can't be THAT expensive.

LSU fans may want to donate to their own natural disaster cause.

The core curriculum at USC actually includes Whining, Bitching & Moaning 101.
Trust me, I have a BA in Poor Losing from there.

2 titles in a row, not a dynasty... but the other schools would not have minded 2 period.

One title in a row, Earl. Just one. LSU was BCS champion in '04, USC in '05, Texas in '06.

As for the "foraworthycause" comment, it is worth meantioning that Onepeat.com has already raised more than twice as much money as that site for chairty.
So much for the moral high ground there.
In any case, anyone who knows the situation here realizes that the amount of money we are talking about isn't even .01% of whats needed and pales in comparison to the more than 100 billion of federal aid already given.
Its labor, not money thats needed now.

This is so misleading. How is everyone unaware that all LSU won in 2003 was the coaches' poll national title? That crystal ball is not "the" national title. It is "a" national title and always has been.
The BCS is an effort to unify the titles. The reason why people complain that the BCS has failed is because it didn't unify the titles in 2003. There was a split title like so many times in the past. Saying that the coaches title is now the only title is not true. That's onepeat's whole point and it's utterly wrong.

Everyone seems to forget that SC was ranked #1 in both the AP and Coaches Poll at the end of the regular season. Not LSU and definitely not Oklahoma. They came in at the #2 and #3 spots. So, if USC had been given a spot in the BCS National Title game, like everyone else with an ounce of common sense would think, SC just might have beaten LSU, or OU, in the Sugar Bowl. How soon all of you ignorant "Bayou Bengal" fans forget that SC was essentially bent over, screwed and told by the BCS to go play in the Rose Bowl to a much lesser, although then ranked #4 Michigan team.
Here's to the Trojans back to back national championships AND consecutive Heisman trophy winners. It must've been a tough two years NOT being a Trojan. Fight on.

"Everyone seems to forget that SC was ranked #1 in both the AP and Coaches Poll at the end of the regular season."..Trojan Alum....
Those #1 rankings were only PART of the equasion. Even with that help from the press and the coaches, they still could not get into the championship game...just not strong enough.
"This is so misleading. How is everyone unaware that all LSU won in 2003 was the coaches' poll national title? That crystal ball is not "the" national title. It is "a" national title and always has been."..Sanjiv Pumple
With a name like that, it really does not deserve a comment, but this has to be said.
The Crystal Ball IS the National Title. Whether the University of Spoiled Children like to admit it or not, it's currently the way it's done. There has to be a single title...and not one that can be decided at USC's whim. Your team is a one title dynasty in 2003, and a Rose Bowl loving cup winner in 2003. Nothing more.
"LIVE WITH IT", as your fans are so fond of telling others.
