So how would you celebrate BBDO Day?

Bbdo_proclamation1So word trickled down to us that by proclamation of Mayor Bloomberg, today is BBDO Day in New York City, due to the agency’s contributions to the city and awards for great performance by various and sundry industry publications. That’s all well and good, but how would someone suitably celebrate this? By setting his or her hair on fire? We’re just flummoxed.

I will celebrate BBDO Day by re-reading Bruce Barton's 1925 book, The Man Nobody Knows, in which he depicts Christ as the greatest salesman of all!

Well, Jesus was selling love, forgiveness, and compassion, which is a coupla notches up from what agencies are hired to sell, no? Pardon me, I need to go have a cigarette and a shot of tequila to help digest that super-sized meal I just consumed.

Copyranter... BBD&O is not a "Clusterfuck." Its a "Starfuck." They wouldn't know how to shoot a spot without Cindy Crawford, Jason Alexander or the current "Star du jour."
