Pro-cycling ads poke fun at car potatoes
Being pro-bike in NYC more or less requires you to be anti-car. This looks to be true elsewhere, judging by a new “Love your bike” ad campaign in Manchester, England, launched just in time for spring. Despite this billboard’s little slap at automobile drivers, who are apparently growing larger by the second, the rest of the campaign is mostly warm and fuzzy, while stressing the cardiovascular benefits of cycling. The main poster is a single rear reflector done in the shape of a heart. Link via Bike for All.

Cyclists are a very hostile bunch. They are rude, aggressive and have an amazing sense of self-entitlement.
They all deserve to be buzzed by taxis.
Do NYC a favor, cloth-line a cyclist.

Can anyone tell me why cyclists shouldn't share a lane with pedestrians instead of cars? A person vs. bike accident would have a lot less damage than a bike vs. car accident.
