GM uses online game to promote ethanol
It’s amazing how quickly public sentiment, and the messages from marketers, can change in the wake of gas prices of more than $3/gallon. Thus, we found this morning that GM is promoting a new online game, the Stalk Car Race, in which consumers can race an ethanol-powered car through a corn field. It’s not much of a game, but we suppose it does help embed the message that some of the company’s vehicles, including the maligned Chevy Tahoe, will run on E85, an ethanol and gas mingled blend.
