California: home of the garbage-beasts
Here’s an ad by Goodby, Silverstein & Partners for last year’s California Coastal Cleanup Day. (I’m several months late on this post, but oh well.) This disturbing image of the “Cig Egret” gives new meaning to the phrase “tarred and feathered.” Check out two other homely beings, the “Cola Bass” and the “Spork Crab,” over at Houtlust. As an added bonus, you can buy these posters from the California Coastal Commission for $8 each (or three for $20). They’re suitable for framing in your house, should you wish to be chased relentlessly in your nightmares by horrific West Coast garbage-creatures bent on revenge.
