Farley ad pushes drug and alcohol treatment

ChrisfarleyHere’s the Chris Farley billboard you may have heard about over the weekend. It’s from a company called Hythiam, and it promotes a new drug and alcohol addiction treatment. The ad will go up today near the Chateau Marmont on Sunset Boulevard in L.A. More are on the way. Some feel that Hythiam is exploiting Farley’s death for financial gain. But Farley’s family is firmly behind the campaign—this is the first time they have approved use of his image in an ad since his death eight years ago of a drug overdose.
