Is YoungGuns on the fence about animals?

Ygaposter The 2005 YoungGuns award was promoted with images (like this one) of younger animals tearing older ones to bits. A year later, for the 2006 YoungGuns award, the creative brief has been supplied by PETA. Just a coincidence?

Looks to me like in the poster, animals are harming animals, rather than people harming anaimals. In nature, animals eat other animals and nature's not quite as politically correct as we people tend to be.

I'm not sure if there's a connection or not but I love that piece of art.
