Not in control of one’s body, and loving it

Old If I were an elderly person for whom this headline rang true, I’m not sure I’d classify my situation in life as “great.” But for a beer called Toohey’s Old Black Ale, the theme of this campaign—“It’s great getting Old”—makes sense, in a lazy kind of way. Other ads in the series take similarly depressing old-person predicaments and see them as reasons to celebrate. Headlines include: “I get money for doing bugger all”; “There’s a sign on the bus that says you have to get up for me”; and perhaps the funniest one, “You. Sponge bath. Now.” The ads are from Saatchi & Saatchi in Sydney, Australia, according to Ads of the World.
