See, this is why Altoids kicks ass. This just makes a lot of sense from a range of marketing standpoints. Say what you want about recent ads, this is a brand that ALWAYS does things for a reason. Sure, they are selling 3 samples for charity. But, they are very aware that this is a viral marketing bonanza. Heck, we're talking about it and we're just ad nerds. Look at Altoids.com, look at their print, look at their packaging. These guys get it and do so in a way that transcends brand manager rotations. I say good job!
