Bubblicious celebrates moment of release

Bubblicious_1 There’s something a bit Oozinator-like about the new Bubblicious campaign in Canada. Frankly, it’s full of exploding sticky goo. Check out the TV spot, which shows a family fleeing in terror from geysers of pink liquid, as a teenage boy stands motionless and guilt-free in the middle, telling us how he was “warned” about this kind of thing but just couldn’t help himself. (The first explosion nails a dog walker in the crotch; later, a woman gets it in the chest.) The tagline is, “Beware the burst.” A creative director at Youthography in Toronto says the ad “lets us revel in the moment of the burst.” Other industries have made a killing doing just that.
