Meet one of eBay's first PowerSellers!
Insomnia struck last night, and so, in the wee hours of the morning, I was introduced to Dave Espino, who is currently promoting himself in an infomercial as one of eBay's first PowerSellers! Making up to $12,000 a week using his time-tested techniques! And you can too! (One of his books "Beyond eBay" is pictured here.) If there was anything surprising about said infomercial (certainly its stilted interview format and overexuberance wasn't), it's that I'd never seen an eBay PowerSeller doing an infomercial before. Still, although Espino's rap is basically a half-hour ad for eBay, you have to wonder if somewhere out there a sleepless Meg Whitman is cringing at this cheesy shilling of the eBay brand.
