I assume the idea is to keep this as a commemorative piece rather than a player's racquet? The problem with using it is that the paint (stencil) on the strings tends to chip after some use.
Ads have been on racquet strings for quite a while. Usually in the form of the sponsor's logo stenciled in the same manner that the Andre picture is. Granted, the Andre picture is FAR cooler than the Head logo.

usually, the stencil is the raquet company's, not an "ad" per se
