At least you don’t do this for a living

Whoopee_1You may sit slack-jawed at that Advertising Week panel, drooling all over yourself and regretting every choice you’ve made, but at least you don’t earn minimum wage handing out fliers while dressed as a cushion that simulates fart noises. The mascots at the Parade of the Ad Icons would beat this character to death with sticks. Photo by Flickr’s Thadeus Maximus.

These guys were outside of my office, and the the line on the card they handed out read "Is your job worse than mine?" It was for Careerbuilder. My corner featured a depressed guy in a pink bunny costume and a girl dressed as something that I can't remember. Anyway, while not earthshattering, it was a nice, simple idea that seemed to be getting a decent amount of attention on the street.

Actually I'm sure they get paid more than min. wage. 5 yrs ago I had a chance to dress as a banana (face not showing) for $11 per hr (that's in Peoria, IL cost of living is cheap..$100K for a real nice house but $70K you can get a good house) Almost did it but I had school or something
