Toyota’s scratch-off ads ‘did not excite’

Scratch Flickr user mandydale writes: “So, outside of Zeitgeist in San Francisco, Scion decided to do an ‘interactive’ poster, enticing passer-bys to ‘scratch off and find two of the same.’ When we came across this poster, no one had bothered to even touch it. So off we went, scratching the posters, and waiting with bated breath to see what lies beneath the silver scratch-off layer.” Here’s what they found. It certainly wasn’t cash.

i just saw this ad in ny. a couple were scratched but mostly people ignored it. as i walked by i did a quick scratch and nothing came off. i think you literally need to bust out a screwdriver or something. pretty lame ad.
