Bravia site calls a truce on battle of sexes

Bravia1 Sony has a kind of “choose your own adventure” thing going on at a new Bravia Web site. (Once you’re on the site, click on “Choose commercials here” on the left.) A man and woman separately walk up to a store window, where a Sony Bravia high-def TV is on display. “Nice picture,” they both murmer at the same time, then look at each other. “Would you like to …” the man begins, then the screen changes, offering four options for how the commercial can end—two Bravia2 options for men and two for women. It’s not exactly revolutionary, but it works nicely for the product. At the end of the spot, the voiceover says, “No matter what you watch, you’ll both agree on the world’s first television for men and women.”

The Nature Valley one's got more depth to it, but man...it took me a long time to get to the skinny dipper.

Plus, Sony's "I got fired for introducing you to rock and roll" is the best line I've seen in an ad lately.
