The feel-good prison-rape film of the year
It really is kind of remarkable that prison rape is considered so run-of-the-mill and unshocking and even amusing that Universal Pictures can make an entire comedic feature film revolving around it, and then promote it with a cartoony soap-in-the-shower poster. All sorts of ass jokes abound in this movie, judging by the trailer. Maybe there’ll be a tie-in with a soap marketer at some point. Offhand, we wondered what Stop Prisoner Rape, the activist group, might think about the whole thing. They told us they hadn’t been aware of the film or the posters, which they deemed to be “terribly offensive,” and they would get on the case right away. Spotted at Market My Monkey.
