Here’s one way to get your veggies

Soda Just in time for the holidays, Jones Soda is launching the latest in its line of stomach-churning sodas. Green pea is part of the 2006 Holiday Pack, pictured here. Another flavor, allegedly a seasonal favorite since this isn’t the first time the company has produced it, is turkey and gravy. If this whole concept sounds kind of disgusting, good to know that Jones Soda’s CEO, Peter van Stolk, agrees: “Why people buy it is beyond me,” he says. “I can't drink a bottle of this stuff.” Guess he’s just giving the people what they want.

I was in the local $1 store this past September and there were around 300 boxes of the Jones 2006 holiday soda packages available. I'm not sure when their soda expires, but for $1 it was a good joke. For anything more than $1, it isn't worth it (the turkey and gravy soda tastes like feet).

Hmmm. Pee in a bottle. 'Cause you know that's what kids will say when they see this gathering dust at the store.

Dang, instead of buying hundreds of dollars in groceries and spending hours cooking, I could have just bought a couple of these packs and served 'em up for dinner.
