Taser International zaps its own executives
You may have seen the video of the UCLA student who got tasered by some very uncool campus cops for not having his ID with him. It got us wondering how companies that make tasers market their wares. Not surprisingly, the focus is on safety. What we didn’t expect was the video above, showing Taser International executives (CEO, president, CFO, COO, etc.) taking some gruesome jolts from the company’s products — in an effort to prove how harmless (non-lethal) they are. Try to ignore the screams of unbridled agony. If only your boss showed this kind of commitment. See more info (including a link to the video in Windows Media Player format) here. |

How uncool can a student be? Amazed by all the fuss...

The "fuss" is because he got shocked repeatedly because he wouldn't stand up. And he wouldn't stand up because he couldn't stand up after being shocked by a taser.

Actually, the reason he got tasered is because he 1) refused to show his ID when asked for it (and he had it on him). And 2)resisting the officers.
Frankly, he has no one to blame but himself. If you don't want to get tasered in the first place, best do what the cops say.

When are those punk kids going to learn that you have to do whatever the police tell you? No matter what it is. And if you don't, you deserve to get attacked, beat up, tasered, shot in the face, whatever.
Some hippies think that police officers are just people upholding the law, but what pinko country are they living in? In the United States of America, once that man or woman puts on a uniform, they have a right to completely control everyone else. If you refuse to obey a police officer, you deserve whatever you have coming, even if they kill you. And you have no one to blame but yourself. If you don't want to get killed, best do what the cops say.
