Seriously, Starburst candies are really juicy

Imaq So apparently, watching two guys in wet suits get water puked on them by a beluga whale is only funny twice. Unfortunately, the ad aired  a jillion times during WWE Raw last night, exposing both the lame, one-shot joke they repeated three times and their misunderstanding of physics. No matter how juicy new Starburst candies are, said juiciness cannot manifest itself externally once eaten. Perhaps an  explanation of this phenomenon should be their next ad. With charts. And then the whale would puke on them. (Incidentally, the animal talent here is a beluga from the Vancouver Zoo named Imaq. Which could mean he’s in the wrong ad.)

A couple of my friends insist that the whale in the Starbust commercial is fake (made of rubber) - how can I confirm that this is indeed Imaq and a real beluga?!

my question is, does he actually spew that water....

Yes in fact the whale in the commercial is real and his name is Imaq. I can confirm this as I was the marine mammal trainer working with him . Beluga whales do spit, but in this instance the spewing water was the wonders of tv special effects. I do have to agree, he 'stole the show'!

Love starbust candies! They are definitely in the top ten of favorite candies. I remember this commercial, it was cute.
