Apology-Bot spot too racy for Super Bowl?

Robot_1 According to New York magazine, sex tapes have gone from “a shocker” a few years ago to “no big deal” today. But perhaps they’re still not quite acceptable in advertising during so-called family entertainment. For instance, check out this commercial for Bud Light featuring the Apology-Bot 3000, a robot that will apologize to a woman on a guy’s behalf. (“It’s takes courage to apologize. The courage of a robot.”) A comical enough premise, and a funny ad—but not one that was appropriate for the Super Bowl, at least according to the rumors floating around. In any case, you can play around with the Apology-Bot on Bud Light’s Web site—and send your apologies to a friend’s cell phone.

It might not have been entirely appropriate according to family value standards, but I think that's a risk Bud Light was willing to take, especially given the effectiveness of reaching it's target audience.

I personally would like to ENTERTAIN PERSONS of my choice!Lots of positive feedback,we should all take a moment to frickin laugh! This society has been so fixed on death, destruction and perverts for ratings on major networks, but I am not allowed to have innocent fun within the confinement of my computer? With the Bot 3000 I have seen and heard more laughs than George Carlin,Hearts are less heavy with the humor that you have created!Don't want your minor child seeing or hearing this site stay home and monitor what they do!Take them out to a ball game, their probably to fat with ADD anyway!FREEDOM OF SPEECH MY ASS!
