Fighting image overload with more images

Anti Think of the Graffiti Research Lab and the Anti-Advertising Agency as the Adbusters of the spray-paint set. As such, they recently released a video decrying the increasing amount of advertising in New York City in general and LED signs in particular. That it is slickly put together and shows a variety of brands, including Acura and Nextel, is beside the point. The video shows masked youth covering up LED signs with stencils proclaiming “Advertising = Graffiti” and “NYC’s true graffiti problem.” Given the way the ad industry inhales everything, expect the technique to be co-opted shortly.
