A simple and important idea. But unfortunately these aren't shot very well... and the tagline doesn't quite fit -they're "funny" spots, but not that kindof funny. And the VO certainly doesn't help. "...gaiah." ??

And oh my lord, why did the VO have to sound so androgynous?? Like Michael Jackson gone British.

not trying to be a jerk, just pointing out what's out there. i will say, however, the tagline brings a smile to my face.

"What wha...?!? You stuff your hair?"
(Voiceover)
"You need HAIR-APATHY! Try Sun-Silk!"
(Me, a very gay viewer, wants to take a few whacks upside the head of that annoying stereotypical "gay" voice).
I have never talked any different as a gay man as I did when I was growing up "pretending I was heterosexual" during High School so I didn't have to endure the morons-with-an-agenda. Guys who "talk gay" are such shameless annoying stereotypes. The real sickening irony was that the biggest homophobes in school were the ones encouraging pointless underage sexual encounters to get people to "prove they weren't fags" and the Fundamentalcase homophobes would tease the virgins in High School by declaring that any person who remains a virgin to be a "fag". Simply put, the Fundamentalcases were the ones encouraging underage teen pregnancy while taunting the virgins.

I think they're great ads. What I don't get is why there's no mention of these ads on the site? If EqualMarriage.org wants exposure, they should host the videos on their front page! That's good content which can draw supporters to view the other issues.
