I like to think copywriters do this on purpose. Imagine the "shock, horror" looks on creatives' faces when clients buy ads like this instead of laughing along... they'd just have to go with it, just for laughs - making all their days and nights thinking about pork worth it.
Then again, it is the business of selling, not destroying a client's product.
But then again again, copywriters are supposed to be hyper-intelligent creatures, no?

Based on the picture, I think it's pretty obvious that they did it on purpose. I think it's a good ad, but then I'm not a professional.
