Make more than just a fashion statement
What time is it? According to jewelry designer Udi Behr, it’s “Time for Peace,” the name of his radical chic watch line at Saks Fifth Avenue and online emporia. The anti-Bush campaign, by way of the De Plano Group, soon hits Manhattan kiosks around Rockefeller Center and Chelsea with the tagline, “Most adults know when to pull out.” Tel Aviv-raised Behr tells AdFreak that he “grew up in a country that never saw peace.” In between protesting war and bedecking the likes of Gwen Stefani, Sharon Stone and Britney Spears with his bling, he’s had plenty of occasion to muse, “It is time for peace.” So now can he send the president a watch in time to stop a surge?
