no, that's still outdoor advertising for them. they just don't have any indoors to go to.

My first impression was that it was for a widescreen or projection TV maker. I'm not sad for the homeless because they don't have TV, and yes, I get the agency's point.

That ad is only talking to adpeople. Or least, it's only talking to people who know that those billboards are called "outdoor ads".
Here's the same idea but much better, imho. A barkbench ad reads "Bed", a shoppingcart ad reads "closet". Same message.

For some, this is known as scam advertising...

...the ad never existed. I keep noticing that people comment as much on ads of the word (even on real campaigns like this one: http://adsoftheworld.com/media/print/dove_define_shine_control_gel_scooby_doo ) - have they had a problem with a lot of scam ads? Or is it simply that spec ads aren't clearly labelled?
