It’s a Denver Water employee. Don’t panic.

Denver You may remember Sukle Advertising & Design’s clever conservation ads for Denver Water. Now, the agency is back with a new campaign that focuses on Denver Water’s employees, who have grown sea creatures’ body parts, either through their love for their jobs or some apocalyptic accident. “We decided to show the employees in the ads as being part amphibious to really emphasize their water wisdom,” says Mike Sukle. Hopefully they appreciated that. See one more ad after the jump.

Judging by those mutations, that water is badly contaminated.

Brilliant.

I think it's hilarious that Denver is in a landlocked state, but all the creatures are from the sea. You'd figure they'd at least pick local species of lake and river animals.

Dig the photo treatment, though.

Really? Hilarious?

If those were Washington, DC's DCWASA employees I'd totally believe it. There is so much lead in the water in some parts of the city they deliver FREE britta filters (when is the last time the city gave anyone anything FREE?). I'll be psyched if my unborn kids have aquatic body parts, as long as they don't have three heads...

Man, the tap water must be bad where all you live if your mind went to contaminated water...

Being from Denver, and knowing how good the water is, I definitely didn't read into the idea that the water caused the mutation. But I guess that's why they would only run these ads in Denver, huh?
