Orange faces death, sells fruit smoothies

A melancholy, philosophical orange muses about heaven and then offs himself in this low-budget spot for Innocent smoothies in the U.K. Tortured by a long-ago memory of a rain of currents and confused by the ramblings of a banana bandit, the orange hopes to find answers once he is “crushed through to the other side.” The spot is probably even better if you are stoned. See a few more Innocent spots after the jump.

"The spot is probably even better if you are stoned."

This is a poor assumption that people who have been trained by chemical reactions need to believe this and not believe in the wave patterns of physics.

Just a quick note - the 'suicidal orange' spot wasn't made by us at innocent. It was made by a Swedish agency who wanted to show us an example of what they could do. We thought it was smart, so we posted it on our blog.

I found it very enlightening and refreshing, putting a face on plant life. That's something even the strictest vegan has to think about now and then...right? We've got to eat something. And sooner or later the worms get to eat us.

psychologically, it brings back this strange memory of my kids making dioramas. Oh, for more innocent times.

Philosophically, in truth, i am bewildering the viewing of this airing and the advertisement on a truck i was driving behind down the road. A coffin maker that advertises: Drive safely, heaven can wait, which is kinda, sorta what you are saying. Only eat smartly, heaven can wait, too, or?
