Coke uncomfortable with Jesus testimonial
Coke has managed to delay the opening of an Italian film that shows Jesus enjoying a lovely cool can of the Real Thing. The film, 7 km from Jerusalem, is about an ad executive who loses his job, has a crisis and flies to Jerusalem, where he runs into the Son of God and offers him a Coke. Christ enjoys the beverage, prompting our hero to envision a marketing coup of divine proportions. Coke’s lawyers envisioned a less pleasant scenario, and have forced the filmmakers into reshooting. So, it’s official. Jesus wouldn’t shop at Wal-Mart, and he’d drink Pepsi.
