Roger Clemens in his (advertising) prime

Clemens In honor of Roger Clemens rejoining the Yankees, here’s an amusing ESPN SportsCenter commercial from 1995, in which the Rocket, then still with the Boston Red Sox, tosses a dude across a conference room, as Keith Olbermann clocks the victim’s trajectory with a radar gun. Even then, twelve years ago, they were wondering if Clemens could still “bring it.” After the jump, another funny SportsCenter ad, this one from 1997, in which Clemens, looking weird in a Toronto Blue Jays uniform, makes “K” copies for strikeout junkies everywhere.

One of the guys over at Highbrid Nation wrote a very interesting post about Roger Clemems and and the "real" reason he has come back to play for the Yankees. Good Stuff.
