Bums at MTV tell us not to kill the music

Mtv We have a nascent butt theme emerging today. Here we have an MTV spot that’s amusing and, shockingly enough, true, even if it takes ages to set up the rather obvious punch line. Life would be pretty awful without a soundtrack. But MTV has a lot of balls putting this ad out when they’ve been mucking up the music industry from the front lines since I was in middle school (and even then, they still played music videos). This is like VH1 telling people not to live in the past. MTV might as well just change it’s name to E! Jr., as that’s pretty much all it is.

AMEN!

I WANT MY MTV!

What has become of music television? Do they really ever even play music videos anymore? Every time I flip past the channel (and flip past it every time I do) it's room raiders or some time wasting crap that the longer I watch it the stupider I feel. SEE! It's already working!

Agreed. MTV has a lot of who knows what pretending they actually do something for the music. Did they not stop playing music somewhere back in the last century? We should rephrase their ad: "Without Music, MTV is shit."
