Geeky new heights for product placement
If you caught last night’s Lost season finale, you saw a scruffy Jack talking on a cell phone in the show’s usual flashback scenes. But if you’re a Lost superfan (like the folks at Lostpedia), you saw Jack talking on two phones: a Motorola RAZR and a KRZR. Why would you care? Because these phones came out years after the Lost-ies crashed, and the late-2006 KRZR is a vital clue to the date of these “flashbacks,” which actually were peeks into the post-island future. Of course, I was more interested in a close-up shot of the finale’s annoyingly obscured newspaper clipping, and Lostpedia did not disappoint.
