Resist evil with ‘Spider-Man 3’ bible study
Of all the myriad tie-ins to the new web-slinger flick, I have to say my hands-down favorite is this PDF file: the Spider-Man 3 Bible Study Guide. Now sure, I could poke fun. But in truth, it’s actually a well-written, brimstone-free tool to get teens thinking about the movie’s moral lessons. It was written by Fuller Theological Seminary’s Craig Detweiler, who’s also a screenwriter. He impressively avoids the cringe-inducing tone that often plagues adults trying to connect with young people. Of course, I seem to be one of the few people who actually liked the movie, so take my opinions with a grain of salt. Via Presurfer. UPDATE: In fact, this is not the only Spider-Man 3 bible study out there. Here’s another.

I hate Spiderman, if this is what the majority wants to watch, read, consume, etc, they can have him.
