Wooden stick thing does wonders for honey

You know, honey is pretty gross if you think about it. There’s a lot of insect regurgitation involved, and it’s not even a nice insect like a butterfly. So what image can successfully market the regurge of a potentially deadly bug? Steve over at The Sneeze has noticed that most folks seem to go with the “beehive-shaped wooden Honey-Stick Thing.” It’s the common denominator on packaging for breakfast products from Honey Bunches of Oats to Golden Grahams. “You have done well for yourself, little wooden honey thing,” Steve notes. “I suspect you have a kick-ass publicist, since NOBODY ACTUALLY USES YOU.” For the record, these utensils seem to be known as both “honey dippers” and “honey drippers.” And they suck to clean.
