Verizon FiOS kid is advertising’s latest star

Fioskid_2 What’s up with the kid in the Verizon FiOS commercials? In the first spot, he doesn’t do much except stand there with a puzzled look on his face, then tells the FiOS guy that he has a “nice truck.” In the follow-up, he gets to say a whole lot more. It’s nothing out of the ordinary, but there is something compelling about him. In any case, people love him. A typical exchange on an Internet message board: “So who is the adorable kid in the Verizon FiOS commercials?” “I have no idea who he is, but I think he is going to be the next big male child star.” Well, his name is Raymond Ochoa. He’s been on a couple of TV shows and has filmed his first movie. And he’s in the cast of American Family, a sitcom in development at ABC. Viewers are already feeling protective of him. Writes one: “Do you remember the kid in the Sixth Sense — another great actor? ... Unfortunately, he was arrested for DUI last year, I think. So, I hope this little guy fairs better.

he's another annoying little douche bag that the marketers are convinced everyone will think is "cute".

so we have some morons here who do...

I don't have anything against this kid, I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors ... but I am still wiping away the tears of laughter from Not Amused and Bool Schitt's comments ... hilarious!

This boy Raymond...he is THE cutest little guy out there! Look at his big ol' round head and huge blue eyes!! How can you not think that he or his voice are cute?? Don't worry, he will grow into his head and become a handsome young man and the Verizon commercials will be long gone. I love the "Mom, can we keep him?" commercial. LOOK at that face!!! SO friggin' cute!

all i can say is...this little boy is my super angel...he is super cute and smart...keep up the good works my RAYMOND.:)

I can't believe there are people out there who can say such cruel, mean things about the most adorable little boy on television. You people are what's wrong with this world. Obviously, there are more child abusers and serial killers out there we don't know about. Didn't your mothers teach you to keep your traps shut if you can't say something nice? Raymond, if you read this, you are something special and if I could, I'd adopt you. He is an angel!! I'll watch whatever he's in!

This kid should have been shot into his father's sock

The little mutant is irritating. Just a few minutes ago, a Betty Crocker commercial came on... and I heard the obnoxious voice and saw that bratty face. Well everyone, it looks like we're really in for it...

I ADORE THIS LITTLE BOY. NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I HEAR THIS COMMERCIAL COME ON I COME RUNNING TO HEAR IT. HE IS JUST THE CUTEST.

If this kid talked back and one-upped me like this, I'd backhand him in the mouth so hard his lips would look like the hand grips on power equipment. Cute? This "Oh, it's so cute" attitude from adults is why there's 12 year old girls dressing like painted whores and 14 year old boys shooting classmates... KIDS WATCH TV TOO AND THEY THINK THEY CAN ACT LIKE THIS... Verizon, MTV, Old navy, you name it, they should all be held accountable for luring younger and younger children into their trap.

Raymond is a joy to watch. I tape my favorite shows so I can zip through the ads but not Raymond's. I'll rewind and watch him again (he reminds me of my sons when they were young)I hope every advertiser that needs a young man for their ads uses Raymond Ochoa. He is the cutest. ANYONE WHO DOES NOT LIKE RAYMOND OCHOA MUST NOT LIKE CHILDREN!!!

I want to punt this kid through a window. If I were that kid's father and he told me all that stuff in only a few seconds, I would grab him, drop him, and punt him through a window.

You are all Haters. Just let the kid do what he does best. ACT

The kid from "The Sixth Sense" is Haley Joel Osment and was arrested for DUI at 18 but only his car got messed up. He will be 20 in April 08. His first role was i "Forest Gump", playing the role of the son of Tom Hanks' "Forest". His sister Emily plays Hannah Montana's friend Lilly.

His mother trolls around looking for negative stuff about him on the web and responds to the negative stuff.

He is an ugly little fucker and is quite annoying, as are all kids. They should all be made to disappear.

I'd like to force him to do things to me, unspeakable things.
