Mike Gravel’s surreal campaign commercials

Presidential hopeful Mike Gravel, the former U.S. Senator from Alaska, is currently leading the pack—in the battle to create the strangest ad campaign. The Gravel faithful don’t need much convincing, though. Says one: “I would vote for this guy based on this video alone.” Others just believe he is insane. Sure to capture the coveted German avante garde film vote. I don't know...refreshing? or just plain out of his f-ing mind? Fine line between genius and insanity.

I like the quiet in these pieces. Especially when contrasted with all the needless noise other candidates make.
