Shatner talks crap about Travelocity gnome

Shatnergnome2 This may be old, but it’s new to us: a clip of Priceline spokesman William Shatner ripping on the Travelocity gnome. He refers to his bearded rival as a “stupid little icon [who] doesn’t have half the charm I have.” Shatner admits the gnome may be more attractive and more athletic than he is, but says his own indescribable “quality” puts him head and shoulders above the lawn ornament. Shatner hasn’t been in a new Priceline spot for quite some time, but he did appear in this recent Star Trek-themed DirecTV spot. UPDATE: As our friendly readers helpfully point out, Shatner actually is in some new Priceline ads.

He hasn't been in a Priceline spot in quite some time? Who's the guy in the "Priceline Negotiator" spots then? Capt. Kirk?

Once again, research falters on Adfreak. Shatner is the new Priceline Negotiator. It doesn't take that much work to do a simple search instead of looking like idiots who don't know anything about the industry they're covering.
