Truth in advertising: Descente bike shorts

Descente1_4 It’s hard to argue with this headline, or the first line of copy, which reads, “Repeated chronic microtraumitization should never come between you, your genitals and your friends on a group ride.” Ads of the World has the high-res, readable version of this ad, as well as a second ad with a similarly straightforward message. The agency is Factory Design Labs of Denver. A friend of mine is currently doing a many-day, solo bike trip from Montreal to Portland, Maine. Hopefully he’s heard of Descente.

Numb genitals are usually an issue of fit on the bike and the shape of the saddle and not the padding of the shorts. But I guess you filed it in the correct category "truth in advertising?"
