New Jersey reminds us it has a lot of sand

Sandcastle_2 New York is usually the one dumping on New Jersey, but roles were reversed last Thursday, when the Garden State brought a ton of sand to NYC’s Union Square and built a giant sand castle to celebrate the beginning of East Coast beach season. There are a couple of short videos here and here. Given gas prices today, New Jersey tourism chief Nancy Byrne might want to think of a better line than “New Jersey is a tank of gas away from millions and millions of people.” Photo by Lanterna.

NJ is one of those places that surprises you, MTLB.
It's not just split levels, Sopranos and mall chicks.

There are a bunch of beautiful shore towns that are very un-"Joisey" and Asbury Park itself is becoming HipsterHampton.
