"NRA folks" have a sense of humor. The same sense of humor "advertising folks" have when some jack-tard decides that the ads you produce are offensive and should be removed. The amendments are sacred, all of them, not just the ones you happen to like. Comparing the NRA to a terrorist group? The 2nd amendment is the guarantor of the others.

I can't speak for the NRA, but labeling them "pro-firearms" is a bit of a misnomer. They are, like many other non-profits, a single issue civil rights group.
More importantly, consider the source of the billboard, an organization that cannot even cite statistics correctly. They claim "guns kill 83 people every day." Ignoring for the moment the inanity of an inanimate object killing anyone, the gun control group fails to mention than a full half of the deaths are suicides. Until they can (pardon the pun) shoot straight with the public, then such billboards are nothing more than "shameless publicity ploys.”

And 80% of the numbers they use, are from law enforcement using guns to kill people. No, they don't tell you that when they quote how many people die from firearms each day!

When will advertising people do great work for the second amendment? It seems every agency I work for only does liberal pro-bono stuff. I hope the creatives that did this anti-gun crappy billboard have to face an armed criminal. Let's see how they like gun control when they're unarmed and defenseless against a psycho that wants to kill you.

Do it yourself, if you believe in it so much. Pro bono doesn't have to come from an agency, and your bosses probably now you're a conservative by now as we all do.
There have been many good, conservative ads in the past. See the "My mother's going to kill me" abortion ad and the work in the UK for the conservative party for evidence.

Typical liberal elitism. If guns are so bad, how come celebrities like Rosie O'Donnel are allowed to have armed bodyguards? How come Bill Clinton gets to be protected by armed to the teeth secret agents at taxpayer expense? I guess that makes them special people, and since liberals worship celebrities, I guess it's ok for those uber-humans to be protected while the rest of us aren't.

Why enlist in the army? I support abortion, does that mean I have to have an abortion or work at an abortion clinic? I support legalizing prostitution, does that mean I have to join a whorehouse? Give me a break. Plenty of people support many issues and causes and don't bother joining them. Jimmy Carter supports Habitat for Humanity, and other than those convenient photo-ops, I doubt he has ever built an entire house.
And by the way, I already support the military, I pay taxes!
Besides, the armed forces have plenty of volunteers who are proud to serve their country. One more is not going to make a difference.
As for me doing ads for conservative causes, let me remind you that it's creative directors and not copywriters who get to choose what pro-bono the agency does. Besides, most agencies don't want to do conservative work.

Now, in this day of freelancers and the wonders of the internets and such, there's no reason an industrious and talented copywriter such as yourself couldn't do some killer pro-bono work and win shitloads of awards with it, creative director or not.

I see nothing wrong with this billboard its only telling Americans the truth about what guns do to people, tell why NRA does the truth hurt? I'm sure the 3 bright young kids that were killed execution style are happy to know that people kill people and not guns kill people that is just a marketing ploy made up but the NRA so that they can continue to sell their WMD's. With all the suing the people in the US do the should sue the NRA for every murder that is committed by guns maybe then it will put these murder SOB's out of Business. Gun kill people period 83 of them everyday thats over 30,000 people a year and the NRA still thinks people kill people the whole lot of them should be put in jail for conspiracy to commit murder. Americans are clueless when it comes to guns the 2 amendment was written during the time of the cowboy which is no longer the case. I am sure your fore fathers who change this a amendment if they were living in this day and age. When the 3nd amendment was written they were looking into the future to see how this would of changed drastically had they been able to see what the world would be like in the 21st century
