Promises rehab center looking dazed, too Lindsay Lohan is sinking like a stone, but Promises Treatment Centers, the swanky rehab facility where she recently spent six weeks, isn’t smelling like roses, either. Jay Leno joked last night, “Didn’t she just leave that rehab center in Malibu? Promises? I hope she kept the receipt. What is the promise? They keep the room ready for you?” Of course, most rehab patients eventually relapse, but you might expect better than two weeks sober from a place that charges $50,000 for 30 days. Maybe most of that money goes to the masseurs, the personal trainers and the juice-bar attendants. In any case, Lohan could be shifting her brand loyalty, as some reports say she’s now checked into Betty Ford. Meanwhile, Slate weighs in with a piece explaining why Lohan can’t get her money back from Promises. Did you read the last paragraph from the Bar Shut Down link. It reads
“I’m really upset with how Lindsay has conducted herself with this latest arrest,” said Brookes. “We have two intense classes at our rehab facility that teaches our patients techniques on how to walk a straight line and touch their noses while drunk. It’s very embarassing to see one of our ex-patients perform so poorly after being arrested for drunk driving.”

I think comedienne Kathy Griffin was the one that called Promises, "one of those rehab centers for stars that really don't want to get better."

Drug addiction treatment for illegal drugs had to become a top main concern for centers offering treatment. The newer drugs that are dispersing across the world have caused millions of people to require drug rehabilitation. These drugs are the ones that have been chemically distorted to have an ever larger effect on the person using them. Lindsay Lohan must undergo a serious rehab center that would help her get over alcohol addiction. Coupled with intensive treatment and high-end facilities, she would surely recover and get back on track in no time.
