It's common place for airlines to do this. U.S. base carriers have been doing for years by either paintng out the logo or covering it with a tarp..

is it just me, or does the photo look doctored? it strangely looks like the "white paint" is lifting off the plane. maybe it's just my eyes playing depth tricks on me. ;)

David Gianatasio, the poster of this article can have his opinion on whether or not democracy is flourishing on Taiwan, or whether there is free market in Taiwan. However considering a simple search shows that Taiwan ranks higher on human rights, civil liberties, and even press freedom than the USA, it makes one wonder about the accuracy of other articles posted by him. In addition over 10% of the population are business owners, one of the highest in the world. I wish the poster would make more informed comment on Taiwan.
That said, China Airlines is one of the worst Airlines in Taiwan considering its crash history and poor service. They are even the butt of popular airline jokes on Taiwanese television. Thankfully Taiwan, as one of the larger democracies in the world, has other far-better airlines to choose from.

You are not the only country in the world with an immigrant issue. Most countries share this problem, as these days more and more neighbouring countries are in distress. In Africa, people are flocking south, illegally crossing the borders to South Africa and Namibia to escape the hardships in Zimbabwe and Somalia.
My country has no nukes, and no enemies, we have one of the most advanced and democratic constitutions in the world. Please don’t get me wrong, it’s not heaven on earth, but we work together to build a better country. We try to inspire nations to live peacefully.
