That's the best news I've heard all week, I'm a huge fan of Kelsey Grammer and I've been pining for something funny on TV since Frasier ended :-)
I like the idea of the 'news van' advertising' I'm sure we'll see photos next week!

Oh David, you just had to say something hateful about Fox. Must be like a liberal's version of tourrette's.

Bobby, I don't think it's hateful. Give me a break. Fox News isn't a real new organization. It's a conservative commentary entertainment channel. Does Hannity or O'Reilly actually report anything that they don't put their own spin on? Does Brit Hume? No. Get real. There isn't any real original investigative reporting being done on the network.

Oops! A leftie just jumped out of the bushes! Get the net! Get the net!
Fox isn't a great network, so let's just all agree that 'the rest' are worse. Bill O and co lean less to the right than Keith O and co lean to the left. The media is awash in the kind of America-hating invective that would get them caned elsewhere.
So is this silly little site. And all we wanted to do was look at ads...

Part of the problem with Fox like Bill O, is that anyone that doesn't agree with their version of the truth, they automatically label a leftie, or liberal or worse. Which is a diversion just to distract you from the truth... They don't care if they show two sides of an issue, and if they do, the mock the other side of the issue.
What would be nice for a change if a cable news network really did show the news without the commentary. It's sad that we can't.

Fox News is divided between hard news (Greta Van Sustern "On the record"), news breaks, and opinion shows like Hannity and Colmes, O'reilly, etc. There is nothing wrong with having "news commentary." CNN does it with Larry King, Olberman, etc. So does MSNBC.
The problem liberals (and yes, labels do exist even if some people don't like them) have with Fox News is that they give conservatives a voice. They can interview Ann Coulter without having the wife of John Edwards call and give a stupid rant.
"Does Hannity or O'Reilly actually report anything that they don't put their own spin on?"
---They give both sides of the issue, they interview liberals and conservatives. They also cover stories CNN doesn't touch, such as judges that give child molestors probations, political incorrectness, the school in Boulder colorado that brought speakers that told the kids to do drugs and have lots of sex, etc.

Boy, the wingnuts come crawling out of the woodwork when someone dares throw rocks at one of their shrines. The good news is, the wingnuts are so few in number and have absolutely no credibility, so you can safely ignore their victim-complex rants about "liberal invective" without even really noticing!
:D

Oh dogbert, keep isolating yourself with your "progressive" friends, soon enough you'll believe most people think like you.
Fox News is the #1 rated news channel. Ann Coulter is a New York Times Best Selling author, Rush Limbaugh gets more than 3,000,000 listeners a show, Bill O'reilly's TV show, radio program and books are often best sellers.
What liberals do dominate is stupid shows like Big Brother, Fat March, Survivor, American Idol, America's Got Talent and other shows perfect for the "I don't want to think" target audience.
Seriously dogbert, I can understand you being a liberal, but to be in denial about conservative ratings? That's sad. I guess the truth hurts.

Ok, first I thought you worked for Fox News, but then you drag out Ann Coulter. Hahahaha. Dude, seriously, if you have to drag out Rush and Ann into a discussion to show steller conservative values, that's just plain old funny.

Ann Coulter is a brilliant writer, Frank, you should try reading her books and columns instead of reading about her.
Here, read her column.

fox news is a joke. that's not even a matter of debate. if rupert owns it, it becomes an unquestioning slave to the right wing agenda. or else. nothing especially new there.
but witness Fox's recent avoidance of reporting on Sen Craig's embarrassing demise. hilarious. Sen Craig (R -Idaho) a family-values spouter and upstanding member of the NRA board caught soliciting gay sex in an airport. can't spin that one.
now that's comedy folks.

bobby,
you're uncharacteristically silent on the matter of closeted gay right-wing senatorial NRA board members seeking anonymous gay sex in airport bathrooms. wonder why.
we understand that it's a huge embarrassment to you and that you'd rather not live in the real world, but, just out of curiosity, have you died?
we live in hope.

"but witness Fox's recent avoidance of reporting on Sen Craig's embarrassing demise."
---Wrong! You obviously don't watch Fox News. O'reilly did cover the Craigstory, the difference is that liberal networks are so overjoyed (shaddenfreude without the shame) that they'll obsess about it. The poor bastards are desperate to fill airtime.
"you're uncharacteristically silent on the matter of closeted gay right-wing senatorial NRA board members seeking anonymous gay sex in airport bathrooms. wonder why."
---How does that affect me? When Bill Clinton fucked a girl old enough to be his daughter, did that affect you? When that Kennedy asshole crashed his car after driving drunk and killed a girl, did that made you look bad? Or what about when Barney Frank let a hooker stay with him? Of course, democrats have no morals so they never get in trouble, but republicans do have morals, so when one of us turns astray, we turn our backs on him. He's dead to us.
Frankly, you're probably a homophobe using Craig for your own advantage. Fucking hypocrite democrats, your kind claims to support gays but you don't support same-sex marriage, Bill Clinton passed don't ask don't tell, ENDA was never passed. I'm sticking with republicans, at least they consistent with their values.

1) Check out Red Eye at 2 AM Eastern time on Fox Cable News...weird moments, but occasional funny ones too...almost like television was 55 yeras ago with a little more salacious content and immaturity
2) "Shaddenfreude" ist schadenfreude, nein? Ich danke oder Ich denke
3) What about that poor policeman whose job is to sit in men's room stalls? What did he do to the Captain in the precinct to get that post?

bobby,
yes Clinton did shag an adult female woman outside of his marriage. as did gingrich etc. hey, we all do it! apparently.
and, btw, clinton has been out of power for 7 years now.
but clinton wasn't a Republican NRA board member ( i bet Craig's shotguns were all Italian and faaabulous!) . and clinton didn't spout sanctimoniously about family values.
and he didn't loudly and continually disparage gays and gay rights as he sucked on other men's members in public bathrooms. clinton didn't do that. Sen. Craig (R-Idaho) did that.
