Great post, but if I recall correctly the source of the title phrase, it should be "'Ugly' bags of mostly water".

Oh you have to learn to get them where it hurts, and that's by lying!
You tell them you are interested, give false names and information, tell them to send the product or information to false addresses etc.,
It takes 5 minutes, and it wastes their money, is anything more delicious!
Especially for time shares, they do credit checks to ensure you are worth the time, you can keep them going over a week trying to get your details. Then apologize and give fresh false information. They again have to do work, pay money to do the check and ohhhhh too bad, wrong again!
If we all took 5 minutes to give false information to phone marketers, we'd but a huge dent in their pocketbook.

Same thing goes for online data mining, give different ages and interests, even sex when filling anything out. There is no reason why a website needs your real age...or name for that matter.. :)
